How it works

Four steps, then it runs on its own.

  1. Connect your system

    Sign in to QuickBooks, Zoho Books or Shopify, or paste a Manager.io key. Cloud systems need nothing installed.

  2. Add your JoFotara details

    Enter the device number and secret code from the JoFotara portal, then pick the invoice type that fits your business.

  3. Choose how to submit

    Turn on auto-submit to send documents as they're created, or review them and submit yourself.

  4. Get the QR code back

    Every accepted invoice gets its JoFotara QR code on the PDF, and the tax response is saved with it.

What is JoFotara?

JoFotara is Jordan's national e-invoicing system, run by the Income and Sales Tax Department. Invoices are submitted to it electronically, and every accepted invoice carries the QR code it returns.

Which systems do you support?

QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop, Zoho Books, Shopify, Loyverse POS and Manager.io. Any other system can connect through our REST API.

Do I have to change how my team works?

No. Your team keeps issuing invoices in the same system. Jordan Connector works alongside it and sends JoFotara what it needs.

What happens if an invoice has an error?

It isn't sent. You see the reason in plain language, such as a missing tax number, fix it in your system, and submit again.

How does the QR code get onto my invoice?

Once JoFotara accepts the invoice, we save its response and add the QR code to the invoice PDF in the position and size you set.

Which invoice types are supported?

Income, general sales and special sales invoices, for local sales, exports and development zones, paid in cash or on account. Credit notes are supported too.

Can I connect more than one system?

Yes, you can use more than one system with Jordan Connector. Each company profile connects to one system at a time.

How is it priced?

It's a subscription per company (tax number), renewed online by card through PayTabs. Longer plans cost less per month. You'll see the current plans in your account after signing up, or email us for a quote.

How long does setup take?

Most of it is signing in and pasting your JoFotara details. How long it takes depends on your system and having those details ready, and our team helps you through setup and your first submissions.
